Le chanteur Katchou, star de la chanson chaouie, auteur des hits Hey Demi Demi et Ana Wach Edani, est décédé dans un accident de circulation, hier soir vers 20h sur la l’axe routier reliant Sétif à Batna et ce, à l’âge de 45 ans.
Katchou se rendait à Djemila où se déroule le Festival du chant arabe. Il devait s’y produire ce soir. Katchou, de son vrai nom Ali Nasri, est né en 1964 à Batna. Katchou a fait ses premières armes en reprenant le répertoire de Aïssa Djermouni, son père spirituel, notamment Métoussa. Katchou compte d’autres titres : Delali Delali, Hami Hami, Lali Lali ou encore Houzni Ala Bladi.
